Firstly, Prof. Dr. Bakhtyar Saber Baiz, Dean of the College of Law, delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees, during which the importance of organizing such workshops and activities to further promote awareness within society in general, and within the university in particular was highlighted by him.
Then, Ms. Arian Dzeiy, Head of Health and Safety at the University Presidency, presented a speech highlighting the role of the University’s Health and Safety Directorate in promoting health awareness among university students. She also expressed her gratitude to Dalany Laboratory and Pharmacy for their cooperation and participation with the University’s Health and Safety Directorate in organizing this workshop.
Afterward, Dr. Sami Saleem delivered a topic “Breast Cancer Awareness”, followed by Mr. Jihad Sayed Yaqoob who presented “What Is a Medical Laboratory?”. Then Dr. Ahmed Abdulqader presented a subject on “The Role of the Laboratory in Diagnosing Breast Cancer”, and another subject was given on “How to Perform Early Screening for the Family.”
Finally, Prof. Dr. Abbas Burhan, Director of Quality Assurance, presented the conclusions of research which conducted at Salahaddin University on breast cancer and Dr. Mina Abdulhakim, Director of Dalany Pharmacy, delivered a topic entitled “The Role of the Pharmacist in Supporting patients, Especially in Breast Cancer Treatment.”
