To contribute to achieving the first Sustainable Development Goal (no poverty) by providing material support to the most vulnerable communities, and to achieve the second goal (no hunger) by meeting urgent food needs and addressing food insecurity, and to support the seventeenth Sustainable Development Goal (partnerships for the goals) through joint action aimed at achieving humanitarian and development goals, (A Campaign to Collect Financial and Food Aid for the Kurds of Western Kurdistan) was organized on Tuesday, 28 January 2026, the Deanship of the College of Law, in coordination with the Head of Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union, / College of Law, announced the launch of the campaign. Asst. Prof. Dr. Qasim Hashim Mahmoud, Vice Dean, together with student activist Halwest Gardi, Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union, / College of Law, and Mr. Amir Khurshid Sheikhani, Head of the Human Resources Unit.
